What a fantastic time we had at our Southwark Music Orchestral Playing Day.
In the beautiful surroundings and acoustics of the Queen Elizabeth Hall, young musicians from schools across Southwark come together to form an orchestra for the day. Using no sheet music this year, it was brilliant to see the students collaborate with musical director Scott Stroman and our tutors, creating a concert’s worth of material in such a short space of time.
