Dynamite Strings is go! Southwark Music teacher Georgina Leach has just launched the first book in her series for beginner violinists: Dynamite Strings Violin Book 1.
Bursting with catchy original tunes and well-loved classics, Dynamite Strings touches on an exciting range of genres including Disco, Bluegrass, Soul and Reggae. The book's accompanying backing tracks have been recorded by some of London and New York's top session players and a unique colour-coded notation makes reading notation easy.
From testing out tunes and naming them (Princess Power and the Wolf!) to providing some very imaginative illustrations, young violinists from John Ruskin School have been involved at all stages of making the book.
