Southwark Jazz Project

Join Southwark Music in exploring and celebrating the life and legacy of Nobel prize-winning South African archbishop Desmond Tutu on Friday 25th March 2022, 5pm at the Clore Ballroom, Royal Festival Hall.

Jazz pianist and composer Pete Letanka will work with children from schools in Southwark to tell Tutu’s life story through songs, instruments and spoken word. The project explores themes of courage and confidence, resilience and fairness and the pursuit of excellence through joy.
