Following an exceptional performance at the Music for Youth Festival in Birmingham today, The David Idowu Choir has been officially recognised by the MFY mentors. Fresh from the Southwark Schools Spring Sharing, the Southwark Youth Orchestra took part in the Music for Youth regional festival on Saturday 5/03/11, again at the Southbank Centre in London. The Orchestra played a blinder, obviously relishing another opportunity to play 'live'. Well done to everyone for their dedication and hard work and thanks to the back room staff, including parents, for making it all possible.
