Libby Gwyther
Born in Lincolnshire, Libby Gwyther studied Music at Oxford University and Saxophone Performance at the Royal Northern College of Music.
Having completed her studies, Libby currently works as a freelance musician, performing, recording, transcribing, arranging and teaching music. She finds her work as part of the Southwark Music Service team, delivering the Recorder, Vocal and Strings Wider Opportunities programmes, incredibly rewarding. She believes that SMS do great work around the borough, presenting opportunities for school students, who otherwise may not have such a chance, to learn musical instruments in a friendly and enjoyable environment. This not only gives them lifelong musicianship skills, but is also an invaluable means of developing their confidence, concentration and social skills. Staff and Tutors |
