Blue Blast

Many of the children that join our Saturday Centres just don't want to leave!  So, for young people in Year 7 and above, we run Blue Blast.  Here you can play in groups and meet other musicians to form your own ensembles and bands.
 
If you've successfully participated in either our STAX or our BLUE NOTE Centre, you can audition for BLUE BLAST.  You'll be asked to perform a 2-minute piece on your instrument and sit a short percussion assessment. This could include reading musical notation as well as playing.
 
After your audition, if you're successful, you'll be offered a place in a BLUE BLAST group, according to your ability.
